Appointment System
We are pleased to be able to offer online appointment booking via the link at the top of this page. This service can be used to book or cancel an appointment with a GP. You can also check the date/time of any upcoming appointments you have with a GP.
You need to register to use this service - please download and complete this application form. On receipt of a completed form, a registration letter will be issued with a unique patient ID. This is required to create and access your account.
If you are unable to find a suitable appointment on-line this does not mean that an appointment is unavailable and you should contact the surgery in the usual way.

Home Visits
Home visits can be requested by ringing the surgery before 10:00am. It is important that we have your current phone number as a doctor may ring you back to discuss your problem and to discuss alternatives to a home visit if appropriate. If it is an urgent problem which the doctor feels can’t wait then an ambulance may be suggested.
Please note that in the time in takes to do one home visit several patients could be seen in a well-equipped consulting room at the surgery.
Home visits are for terminally ill and truly housebound patients. Parents, naturally, worry about moving unwell babies and children. It is quite safe to do so and means your child will receive quicker treatment at the surgery.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- If you need an interpreter
- If you have any other access or communication needs
Text Reminder Service
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
